- 'Young Stars', which will be 5 years old this year, is an ad festival where college students have an opportunity to showcase their talents and creativity. This ad festival is the first ad festival in the world that is designed only for youth. Over four days and three nights, August 23th to 25th, various college students from all over the world, such as Korea, Japan, China, Russia and Armenia, will be honorably representing their countries as they participate in the Young Stars 2012 AD Festival.
- Contenders participating in Young Stars 2012 will be given a topic on the spot and will have 30 hours to meet the deadline and produce their ads. Ad experts from Korea and various other countries will judge all the submitted work. Judges will use fair judgment based on specific criteria in order to determine the top ads. Seven teams will enjoy the winning awards, and those who receive a bronze award or higher will be entitled to an internship opportunity for well-known ad agencies in Korea and abroad.
- Contenders of Young Stars will be given a visiting ticket to look around the main competition of AD STARS 2012, which is the world’s first tried, on-line and off-line convergence type ad festival. These visiting tickets allow the contenders to freely visit and attend all the seminars and events organized by AD STARS. For example, you can meet the world-class ad men in a conference and listen to their great speeches. You can also enjoy the award ceremonies and other various events.
Young Stars will provide a great opportunity to the future ad men so that they can nourish their international perspectives and also enter into the world ad industry.
